Dear Dad,
I pray you are at peace. I picture you up there surrounded by the saints, the angels, and all of our loved ones who have fallen asleep in the Lord. I picture you embracing your mother, Γιαγιά Γεωργία, and Theia Tessie, where the past is behind you and all is well. I wonder if you are with my great love. I know you would love him too. His loss has been overwhelming. And now, there’s Theio Tim. You can share laughs together like the picture of the two of you by the latrine.
Then there’s Άγιος Νεκτάριος Αιγίνης. I have pictured him waiting for you amongst the others, since he was by your side before you fell asleep in the Lord. The look of peace on your face let me know it was real.
It makes me think of when it’s my time. I pray that we may be together in heaven. I miss you so much. It’s so difficult to watch Mom struggling, and Thena struggling as well. I am so blessed that Mom and I got to make amends before it was too late. It does make me miss you all the more not having you right beside me for support. I know you are praying for us.
